We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive Coach & Referee Development Administrator to support the delivery of advanced coach education, referee development programmes, and the smooth operation of our national learning systems.
This role sits at the heart of our Football Development team and would be perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on detail, and takes pride in creating seamless experiences for others. You'll support the people who develop our coaches and referees, helping ensure the pathways are high‑quality, connected, and world‑class.
Championing Coach Development
Oversee logistics for advanced coaching courses, including registrations, communications, venues, travel, accommodation, invoicing and resource preparation. Support learning content creation and manage assessment administration, including document handling, scheduling, tracking and uploads.
Strengthening Referee Pathways
Coordinate logistics for Referee High Performance Camps and Development Academies, including travel, accommodation, communications, apparel distribution and resource preparation. Support accurate administration for national competition referee activities.
Keeping Our Systems Running Smoothly
Maintain accurate coach and referee records across NZF Learn. Manage course setup, reporting, pathway updates and user support on NZF Learn, and contribute to digitising processes and continuous improvements.
Being a Key Connector
Respond to coach and referee enquiries with professionalism and clarity. Build strong relationships across federations, clubs and the football community, and support reporting, communication and operational coordination within the Community Football
Experience & Skills
- Proven administrative experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience coordinating events, programmes or logistics.
- Strong digital confidence - particularly MS Office, data entry, and online learning systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Outstanding organisation, attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Preferred
- Experience in sport, education or not‑for‑profit environments.
- Understanding of football or futsal development structures.
- A tertiary qualification in sport management, administration, education or a related field.
