Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the rollout of NZF’s Pathway to Performance (P2P) programme across the football system, working closely with federations to support implementation within clubs.
  • Support the ongoing development and refinement of the P2P programme, evolving the design based on feedback and stakeholder insight.
  • Develop practical resources, toolkits and guidance that support federations and clubs to embed effective physical welfare practices.
  • Support and build capability within federation staff responsible for delivering the programme in their regions, ensuring consistent and effective implementation.
  • Work alongside federations to provide on-the-ground support to priority clubs as the programme is implemented and scaled.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of NZF’s national injury prevention intervention strategy and broader Performance & Prevention programme.
  • Support future expansion of the programme into secondary schools and private providers as the initiative evolves.
  • Contribute positively to the Performance & Prevention team culture and wider NZF objectives.
